Chez Sonia provided a truly lovely dining experience for our family while vacationing in the Azores. Not only did she prepare a variety of exquisite dishes at the home where we were staying, but she added a beautiful touch with her fine dishes, cutlery and beautiful arrangements of flowers. We were so impressed with her attention to detail and organizational skills. The musician she brought was also wonderful. She left the kitchen impeccably clean. We were fortunate to experience a dinner with Sonia while vacationing in Sao Miguel. The meal was fantastic. Our family of 6 adults agreed it was the best meal we had in Sao Miguel. Sonia is a beautiful, genuine person which added to our dinner experience. This was our second dinner with Sonia and her team.  The first dinner two years earlier was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Sao Miguel. Our second dinner exceeded our already high expectations. The food was exceptional and authentic, yet creative. Absolutely incredible meal! Sonia cooked for my family as we celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary and the meal was unforgettable. The presentation was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and she took time to engage with us as she cooked and share cultural information about the dishes. I’m glad she cooked for us on our last night there or every other meal would e been a disappointment. She was easy to work with, reasonably priced, I cannot recommend her enough!
